Does Type At Home Scam People?

Type At Home Review – Does Type At Home Scam People?

Type At Home appears to be an Internet-based company that allows those who sign up for it to work from home doing home typist work jobs. The value of these jobs appears to depend on what level of program you purchase with the company. The company itself claims to get their jobs from DPC or “daily profit companies” that in turn are requested to do jobs on behalf of larger, well-known companies.

How Does Type At Home Work?

Type At Home claims to work by offering users the chance to do typing assignments from their home.

According to the Web site at TypeAtHome.com, the first thing that a user needs to do is register with the company. Those who choose to do so can apparently pick from three options – part time typist, full time typist and Business Owner Rep. The site claims that those who are part time can make between $25 and $45 per assignment, those who are full time can make $50 to $75 and Owners can make $100 and $175. The company further claims that payments will be made on Fridays by PayPal or company paycheck as the user prefers.

What Do I Need To Know?

To join Type At Home apparently costs a fee – jobs cannot be worked on until the fee is paid.

For a part- time typist, the fee is $29.99, for a full-time typist it is $59.99 and for a Business Owner it is $89.99.

The Web site claims that all of these are one-time fees. Once the fee has been paid, the site indicates that a user can begin working on jobs. A part time typist may then take on 1 to 2 jobs to work on per day, while a full time typist is permitted to take on 5 to 10 typing jobs per day.

Type At Home In Review

Offering the chance for users to type assignments at home for cash, this Web site claims that it provides multiple levels at different prices; each of which will grant access to a different level of job. Further, the company claims to have affiliations with well-known businesses in the country. Assignments would presumably be a variety of data entry type positions and jobs where things need to be typed out or transcribed.

    Hi

My name is Unathi Mkhasakhasa and I live in South Africa. I signed up and paid for the membership fee with typeathome.com. They sent me the training assignment along with the tutorial videos, and I did the training assignment. I submitted my work to them, and that was the 22nd of December 2012 that I did that. Since then I unfortunately have not heard anything from them at all. I have submitted countless e-mails requesting my login to the back office details, and so far nothing. I am writing this on the 29th Dec 2012, so it’s been 8 days of complete silence from them

I must admit that I am really panicking as I paid for the membership fee which when converted to my South African currency it’s R280 which is a lot of money. Someone please help me.
